Important Announcement regarding Branch Closure - Rhyl
Dear Member,
We are writing to inform you that we will no longer be opening our Rhyl Office from the 30Th May 2025. This is due to a combination of things; our lease is due to expire, and we have seen since COVID a decline in members accessing face-to-face services. Cash facilities will be finishing Friday 16th May 2025 and for the final 2 weeks the staff will be in the office to continue to help members with accessing online services or to answer any other questions.
We are aware that we still have vulnerable members who will need to access cash, and we have put provisions in place for them to continue to do so.
If you are currently using our services as a basic bank account, we would suggest that you look at opening an alternative account and the following accounts are available in High Street branches in Rhyl.

· NatWest - Open a Basic Everyday Current Account
If you are struggling to access a bank account, we can refer you to CAB for support in obtaining an alternative account. This can be done by contacting our team on 0333 2000 601 or emailing info@cambriancu.com and the team will direct you to the correct colleague or by asking a member of staff in branch to arrange a referral for you.
Although we will not have any face-to-face branches, we will still be continuing to offer services to members and you will be able to contact our helpline on 0333 2000 601 Monday to Friday 9.30-2pm where our dedicated team will be able to help with any loan enquiries, bank transfers, arrange a cash collection or discuss our savings accounts options.
We understand that this may be a big transition for some of you who have been using our services for several years, I can assure you we will still be offering the same services, but these will now be done remotely rather than face to face. We will still be around in the local community as we will be offering pop-up shops where you can call in and discuss your accounts. Your account and online access including your access PIN will not be affected at all and you will continue to be a valued member of Cambrian Credit Union.
We would like to reassure you that Cambrian Credit Union is fully committed to operating in your community and that members will be able to undertake all of their business either online and within pop up locations which will be promoted through our website and across our social platforms.
Our team will be in the Rhyl office to offer assistance to register for both online service and information of additional services. We will also be able to identify members who may benefit from additional support
